My Sewing Life (Abridged)

My grandmother taught me the basics of sewing on her old treadle machine she never would give up on. Since then my repertoire of skills has grown bit by bit, usually with the help of others. I bought my first sewing machine for $5 at a garage sale and it has served me well since then. After mostly ignoring sewing for a stretch of life, I have reclaimed it as a hobby and it has thoroughly claimed me. While I have previously sewn only for enjoyment or necessity, I now also sew to sell and have begun writing instructions for sewing projects.
